With access along a minor road, hidden by lots of lovely greenery, is the beautiful main building of Le Grand Dague. You will receive a warm welcome from the Iris Parc team at this authentic old farm, which now serves as the reception. Le Grand Dague is beautifully situated in the heart of the countryside with fantastic views of the surrounding valley. As the campsite is situated near the A89, it's only a 5 minute drive to the village of Atur and a 10 minute drive to the historic city of Périgueux.

A perfectly located campsite. At the campsite you will find a good swimming pool with a separate children's pool, a pleasant terrace and a friendly restaurant...The new swimming pool is being extended by 750 m2. The playful design will have a hydro massage and a toddler pool. The whole area is surrounded by a terrace of over 1475 m2 with plenty of space for sunbeds.
For small children there is a spectacular covered soft play area where they can play safely. Older children will enjoy the muli-sports area. Parents can relax on the large, beautifully landscaped terrace of the restaurant which offers views of the swimming pool, play area and stage-theatre. All sporting events are shown in the special sports bar.

Périgueux, capital of the Périgord (the former name of the Dordogne region) is a successful mix of old and new. The city was founded in 16BC and it seems as though time has stood still here with the narrow streets and impressive cathedral. The campsite is so close to this lovely town that you can easily go there several times during your stay.
