La Pinède parc sits in Les Mathes, between the unspoilt Atlantic coast and the Gironde estuary. Surrounded by the restful shade of maritime pines, there’s also fun to be had right on your doorstep too: the parc's nestled right alongside the fabulous fairground rides of Luna Park (open July & August). Thrills when you want them, peace and relaxation when you need them. Isn't that what all holidays should be like?
La Pinède’s aqua park is an adventureland of rides, slides and splash parks. There are huge water slides, waterfalls and a covered heated pool. Don’t be surprised if the kids will spend the whole holiday with wet hair and wrinkled fingers.
With all that splashing and jumping around, everyone will need to refuel. The parc has its own bakery, with fresh brioches, croissants and pains au chocolat available every morning to make snack times extra delicious. If, that is, you can get anyone out of the pool.
There’s more to La Pinède than just its thrill rides though. A huge kids’ club serves up sports tournaments, days out and treasure hunts, while grownups can retreat to the shady comfort of their holiday home with a good book. Then get everyone together for a fun-packed evening of good food and live entertainment.

The aqua park is something special. A wide selection of slides, big and small, means that kids and adults of all ages can zoom around and race each other before launching into the heated pool. If you fancy something a little less splashy (and a chance to keep your hair dry) there’s a large outdoor pool just up from the complex that provides a more peaceful way to cool off.

The tranquil Charente-Maritime region is home to long sandy beaches, charming villages, rolling vineyards and fragrant pine forests. Ile d’Oleron is a joy - reached by a causeway, it’s a timeless island ringed by soft sand beaches. Historic towns like Royan, La Rochelle and Saintes provide you with plenty of rich culture to explore.Les Mathes perches on the north-west of the Arvert peninsula, between sea and mountains in the heart of the Coubre national forest. The town itself, considered to be one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the area, has a lively nightlife to contrast its relaxed, sun-soaked days. For thrills, head to Luna Park just over the road from your parc, in July and August for good old-fashioned fairground fun your kids will love.
