Au Lac du Biscarrosse is a beautiful lakeside parc close to the much-loved resort of Parentis-en-Born. From its glistening swimming pools to the chic restaurant and bar, it earns every one of its five stars.
The aqua complex is exceptional – featuring huge pools, lagoons and plenty of play equipment such as sprinklers and waterfalls to keep little swimmers happy. The wellbeing centre is equally impressive, with its menu of tempting treatments and massages. Set aside an afternoon for relaxing here while the kids are busy with face painting and mini discos at the kids’ club.
When it comes to activities, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Dance classes, swimming lessons, tennis and aqua aerobics are always on the agenda. Then there’s the simple pleasure of strolling barefoot along the warm sandy banks of Lake Biscarrosse.

The aqua complex at Au Lac de Biscarrosse is huge. You’ll find a fabulous collection of heated pools, lagoons and paddling areas just waiting for you to dive into. Local area
Au Lac de Biscarrosse is in a wonderful location, sandwiched between lush pine forests and the Atlantic in the heart of the Aquitaine region. This is an area famed for its uncrowded coastline and there’s a beautiful beach just eight kilometres from the parc. The terrific waves make it a brilliant spot for surfing, plus there are plenty of other watersports to try your hand at, too.
If you have a car, and feel like venturing further afield, the area of Landes has lots to offer. You’ll find plenty of cycle paths and hiking trails for ambling along. Plus there’s shopping, cafes and restaurants in the resort of Biscarrosse – more than enough to keep you busy!
