If you’re looking for your slice of Italian culture, alongside lots of ways to keep active, say hello to Marina di Venezia. You’ll find this parc near the ferry port at Punta Sabbioni, just a short ride from Venice.
This high quality parc has a superb water park with an Olympic-sized swimming pool. Trust us, boredom is definitely not an option: with three pools, a wave pool, a splashy playground for kids and a tangle of waterslides. And that’s before you head to the beach to continue the fun.
The main piazza offers a supermarket, five restaurants, six bars and a couple of gelaterias. Mamma mia! You’re going to need some serious time on the bike pump track, the trampolines or in the football academy after all that!
From the beginning of June, the ‘animatore’ organises activities and evening entertainment for all the family. Venture to the seaward side of the campsite (take the mini train if you like!) to reach a wonderful, white sandy beach where you can try your hand at watersports, or hire a pedalo. There’s even a brilliant inflatable water park for kids to bounce around on. This is a great place to be as laid back or as energetic as you want to be.

The superb pool complex at this parc includes an Olympic size swimming pool, fantastic water sprayground, giant jacuzzis and waterslides for all ages, including a kamikaze slide and a new childrens slide in the lagoon pool and a 'funny wave' slide with inflatable rafts. With six great pools to choose from, you are guaranteed hours of watery fun and entertainment - but be aware they close for a siesta in the afternoons.

Food, drink & entertainment
Full on fun is the name of the game at Marina di Venezia - and that goes for the food and entertainment too. With four bars, you’re sure to find your favourite evening’s bolt hole - complete with shows, music and family quizzes. There’s a lovely piazza where you’ll find the show stage, around which there four restaurants - try the terrace of Piazza Marina, the Ciale Fontana or the Tiramisu for indulgent Italian desserts.

Local area
The obvious place to go and visit is of course, Venice. You can take a bus from the parc and then a boat across the lagoon and spend a magical day strolling through the narrow streets, marvelling at the architecture, drinking coffee in the cafés, riding in a gondola... Closer to Punta Sabbioni is Lido di Jesolo, a bustling resort with designer boutiques. Aqualandia is about 16km away. It's considered to be the premier water park in Italy and is home to the tallest waterslide in Europe.
