La Charlemagne sits between the lagoons of the Bassin de Thau and the crystal clear Mediterranean. Surrounded by all this beauty, you’ll love every minute of this activity-packed escape.
Mirroring the region’s local lagoons, the parc’s pools are an idyllic place to unwind, swimming and drifting down the lazy river. And while the kids race time and again on the waterslides, you can make the most of the spa facilities. Enjoy a sauna, relax in the hot tub or treat yourself to a massage.
With the parc being right on the Mediterranean shoreline, you can throw on your sandals and soon be building castles on the wonderfully sandy Marseillan beach. It’s also a great opportunity to try some water sports. There’s wind surfing, kite surfing and paddle boarding to tempt you.
A stay at La Charlemagne also serves up the pools and wonderful restaurants of its sister parcs, Nouvelle Floride and Le Beach Garden. You can try a different menu every night as you explore the delicious local cuisine.

The two pools at La Charlemagne balance being active and relaxing. Outdoors, the large pool is ideal for doing some laps and earning those ice creams. Indoors, you’ll find spa baths, water jets and a bubble bench to soothe and relax the muscles. You’ll also have free access to the swimming pool at Nouvelle Floride. Its tropical lagoon pools are just made for slow days while the kids whiz down the slides.
