EuroParcs Biggesee ****
General information
With the whole family, enjoy being amid the stunning forests of Sauerland at this family campsite. Here, you get the best of two worlds, because you will be in the forest or on the water in no time. Furthermore, there is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area of EuroCamping Biggesee-Waldenburg.
Endless enjoyment on the Biggesee
The artificial reservoir is a favourite among water lovers. There is plenty to do each and every day! Water sports fans can enjoy themselves to the full during a sailing, stand-up paddleboarding or surfing session. The lake is also popular among anglers, so do not forget to pack your rod! You will find various cycling and walking routes around the lake, and you can wonderfully relax in the shelter on the sandy beach. Even if you are not such a fan of water there is plenty to keep you entertained throughout the day.
At the park
Back at the park, it is easy enough to relax and unwind. The friendly atmosphere at the campsite means a day of 'sitting at home' is not a chore. The terraces are spaciously appointed and offer a feeling of freedom. If you do not want to be in the sun, you can choose a shaded pitch. The little ones will have lots of fun in the playground, the paddling pool or on the sports field. Plenty of activities are organised for them when it comes to entertainment. At the same time, you can relax in the sauna at the park. Now that sounds like a good deal!
Discover Sauerland
Biggesee-Waldenburg is the perfect starting point for exploring the beautiful Sauerland, one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany and known for its stunning countryside. Get ready for vigorous walks because it would be a shame not to get in some kilometres while you are here. Cities such as Winterberg and Iserlohn provide a glimpse into the region's rich history. Stunning castles such as Altena Castle stimulate the imagination and are mainly interesting to visit with young children. If you would prefer to seek out the crowds, both young and old are guaranteed a full day of fun at Fort Fun Abenteuerland amusement park!
Your stay by the Biggesee
Back at the park there is actually no need for you to cook because the snack bar can provide you with a quick and easy meal. The campsite also has fresh bread every day, which is rather nice for the following morning! After a satisfying dinner, you can find a spot in front of your accommodation and enjoy the stunning views of the Biggesee. Holiday mode: on!
