Located just a short distance (800 m) from the reservoir in the Upper Sûre Nature Park, you will find Ecocamping Liefrange. This is a wonderful small-scale holiday destination offering peace, space, and an abundance of nature. It is a fantastic spot for walkers and keen cyclists. If you enjoy being in or on the water, the reservoir is just a stone's throw from this green campsite. On-site facilities include a small shop, a fresh bread service, and a snack bar with a terrace. You are staying in the heart of the Éislek region, a popular destination for those seeking tranquillity and outdoor adventure. Stand-up paddleboarding, mountain biking, swimming, hiking, and fishing are all possible here.

Hiking Trails, Viewpoints, and the Lake
The large and incredibly clean Upper Sûre reservoir (380 hectares) is situated just 800 metres from the campsite, making it a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Dotted around the lake are several grassy beaches where you can cool off and relax. Alternatively, hire a canoe or SUP board and head out onto the water. From your holiday base, you can cycle to the medieval village of Esch-sur-Sûre, which nestles at the foot of impressive castle ruins. From there, you can cycle along the River Sûre towards Heiderscheidergrund. Be sure to stop along the way for a bite to eat and a drink; the local speciality beers, cheeses, and delicious hams are not to be missed.
