Divided in two by a road, with an underpass for pedestrians, this is an immaculately kept site, with open emplacements in a meadow setting. There is plenty of space for the children to run around and visiting the ducks on the lake will become a daily ritual. Unwind on your emplacement and make the most of the relaxed atmosphere. Facilities include a supermarket, restaurant and bar, with mini-golf and volleyball for the children.

All around, mountain railways climb skywards and cable-car rides open up unforgettable Alpine panoramas and spectacular walks. It’s only too easy to see why Interlaken is one of Switzerland’s premier mountain resorts, and Manor Farm continues to be a favourite parc.

The Berner Oberland region is an area with high, majestic mountains. This also means deep lakes, created during the ice age. Lake Thuner and Lake Brienzer are close to each other, with only a small piece of land between the two. It's there where Interlaken was founded, meaning literally 'between lakes'. Crossing the city is the River Aare as it flows from one lake to the other and downstream to reach Bern, the Swiss capital.

From Interlaken you have a good view of Jungfrau, the mighty 'four thousand' mountain, together with the neighbouring Mönch and Eiger.Tourism here is based around walking, climbing and paragliding. On Thuner lake you can enjoy a trip on a classic paddle steamer.
