Valencia has not yet been discovered by mass tourism and the people are very friendly. There is also more than enough to do for a family holiday: there is the beautiful Bioparc (zoo), the Oceanogràfic marine aquarium and Turia Park with playgrounds like Gulliver Park. Turia Park runs right through Valencia, from the Bioparc to the cutting-edge City of Arts and Sciences. Because the park is much lower than the city streets, it is an oasis of calm and a place to relax for locals. Since Valencia is not only a historical and cultural city, but also the city of paella, oranges and tapas, a tapas tour is recommended.
