Accommodation on campsite Crin Blanc

campsite Crin Blanc, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur

You’ll love Camping Domaine Crin Blanc and the holiday park in which it is located, situated in the heart of the Parc Régional de Camargue. This campsite has a large leisure pool complex, consisting of two swimming pools with water slide and a separate children’s pool. You can do an aquagym course or play a water polo match at the pool. There are plenty of other sports to enjoy, including tennis, table tennis, beach volleyball, archery, Olympiad, pétanque of course, and most importantly, horse riding!

Start your day with a freshly-baked baguette from the site, and if you feel peckish during the day there’s also a snack-bar, pizzeria and restaurant. The campsite also boasts free WiFi, a games room, grocery and ironing service.

While you’re sweating it out, your children can have their fun at the campsite mini-club. There is also evening entertainment, including cabaret, karaoke, bingo and campers’ beauty contests for both sexes.

There’s no shortage of things to discover around Le Domaine du Crin Blanc. Whatever you do, you mustn’t miss the amphitheatre at Arles, the key Roman monument in southern France. Montmajour Abbey, La Chapelle de Charité and La Chapelle des Trinitaires are all buildings really worth going out of your way for. Don’t forget the horses of the Camargue!

Camping Crin Blanc is an ideal base to explore the Camargue Regional Nature Reserve. Take a walk along the 4.5 km of nature trails or spot herons and waders from one of Salin de Badon’s 3 bird-watching observatories.

Saint-Gilles is a ten minute drive away and offers a choice of delicious restaurants and interesting landmarks including the ancient “Abbatiale de Saint Gilles”.

Arles can be found 10 miles from Camping Crin Blanc. Known for having once been Van Gogh’s home, Arles is home to a choice of museums and landmarks. The Arles Roman Arena is the town's most famous landmark. Built around 2,000 years ago, the arena was originally used for gladiatorial events.

Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, a beautiful fishing village set on Mediterranean Sea, is less than half an hour by car and was the inspiration for a number of Van Gogh’s paintings. Today you can wander around the shops and museums or enjoy something to eat in one of the local restaurants.
