Two kilometres from the campsite there is a large horse riding school. For fishermen, there are local waterways and fishing ponds near the campsite. Near Hoge Kempen is the gateway Lietenberg and Kattevennen of Flanders' first National Park “Hoge Kempen”. Fun Belgian cities such as Genk, Hasselt and Tongeren are a short distance away. And a visit to Maastricht is also easily arranged.
