Campingplatz Kinzigtal is located in the Black Forest near the town of Steinach, on a small river. This German four-star campsite is small-scale and well cared for. Children are very welcome at the campsite. There are various facilities, plenty of space and a nice cozy atmosphere.
Child-friendly facilities in the Black Forest
There is a cozy café and a good restaurant with delicious regional dishes on the menu. The facilities here are neat and well maintained. The children can enjoy themselves in the playground or play table tennis. Or take them to the swimming pool right next to the campsite; there are cool diving boards, a slide and a large sun terrace. You can enjoy plenty of walking in the area. The valley in which the Kinzigtal campsite is located is also ideal for pleasant cycling tours. Follow the marked paths through the forests and over meadows to picturesque villages with colorful flower boxes on the houses and inviting pastry shops.
The nice town of Steinach is not far from this child-friendly campsite. The site is also the ideal base for many excursions. Recommended for a day trip is a visit to Freiburg or Strasbourg. The colorful houses in Freiburg and the many half-timbered houses in Strasbourg are definitely worth a photo.
Enjoy being active in a beautiful, hospitable environment
There is plenty to do for active holiday guests! For example on the toboggan run in Gutach or during a visit to the Silbergrube in Haslach-Schnellingen. A visit to the Europa Park (37 km) in Rust is definitely recommended. This amusement park offers a lot of excitement and sensation, but also a lot of culture due to the presence of many European country themes. All in all, many options to ensure you won't be bored during your fantastic holiday at or in the vicinity of the Kinzigtal campsite!
