Accommodation on campsite La Côte Sauvage

campsite La Côte Sauvage , Poitou-Charentes

Camping La Cote Sauvage is located in a wooded area directly on the sandy beach, on the very popular Ile de Ré peninsula. The village of Saint-Clement-des-Baleines is within walking distance. The campsite is quietly located and has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. This is a simple but excellent campsite with good facilities. The bread service provides delicious fresh rolls in the morning. The children have plenty of space to play.

Good facilities and a beautiful island
The campsite has a reception, WiFi reception, table tennis, volleyball, jeu de boules, play equipment, badminton and washing machines. In high season, bread service, snack bar and limited entertainment. At La Côte Sauvage campsite, children can enjoy playing with friends at the playground. Furthermore, all kinds of activities for all ages are organized in the high season. Camping La Côte Sauvage is also ideally located for a bike ride or walk.

Sea, beach and sports
The biggest advantage for Camping La Côte Sauvage is its ideal location on Île de Ré with direct access to the beach. If you don't know how surfing works yet, you can certainly learn it here. There are many surfing schools on Île de Ré! Don't feel like wearing a wet suit? Then of course you can play a game of bocce or table tennis. All that exercise makes you hungry, so treat yourself to something tasty at the snack bar.

From île de Ré to La Rochelle!
Île de Ré has excellent cycle paths, so rent a bike and experience nature from coast to marshland and from picturesque village to oyster farm. Also stop at Fort de la Prée from the 17th century, where there are regular exhibitions. The most beautiful villages on the island are Saint-Martin-de-Ré, Ars en Ré, La Flotte and Sainte-Marie-de-Ré. They are striking because of the typical white houses and there are often markets and traditional activities. So you don't actually have to leave Île-de-Ré at all during your holiday! But we definitely recommend a visit to the port city of La Rochelle.
