La Côte Sauvage is a family campsite on the island of l’île de Ré, set in peaceful, wooded surroundings and very close to the beach. It's perfect for a family holiday.
The campsite is situated just 100 m from a beautiful sandy beach, where your children can play happily with a bucket and spade. While the children play, you can relax in the sun and get lost in a book. If you have forgotten your book, then don't worry as camping La Côte Sauvage has its own lending service. If you would prefer to play a game, board games such as draughts and chess are available. La Côte Sauvage also has a play area where your children can slide, climb and clamber to their hearts' content. Entertainment is provided throughout July and August along the theme of 'nature'.

At the tip of l’île de Ré you will find the fantastic lighthouse 'Phare des Baleine', and it is really worth climbing the 257 steps to the top to enjoy the views and admire the staircase itself. You can also take a walk along the wide sandy beach of Conche, which was the location for filming the allied landings in the film 'The Longest Day'.
