Looking for a glamping holiday in the middle of the wonderful Portuguese nature? Quinta do Pisão offers her guests an exquisite stay on a beautiful estate in Central-Portugal. In between the rolling hills and located next to a small stream the small scale farm campsite is one of the top stays in Portugal. Enjoy the outdoors on this sustainable campsite. The Dutch owners have their own grape, olive, and herb allotments. Furthermore, they have a small orchard, a small piece of wood and multiple animals!

Quinta de Pisão has its guests lots to offer. Do you like hiking or biking? The environment of the Quinta is perfect for both! Or perhaps you just like to lay back and enjoy the peace and quiet? You can occasionally cool off in the outdoor swimming pool for maximum enjoyment. For the smallest guests the Quinta has a sandbox, a slide, and a swing. And their older brothers and sisters can build their own shacks at the river. Furthermore, competitions can be held at the ping pong table.

You'll stay in one of the two safari-lodges which are suitable for up to 4 persons. You have a larger family? There is also the possibility to add extra mattresses for extra children. The safari-lodges both have their own private bathroom within the sanitary facilities, and both have electricity and cold water. Enjoy the surroundings from your covered porch with lounge chairs.

The lovely owners can make, upon request, breakfast and twice a week a cosy diner on the covered terrace of the Quinta. Enjoy the meals made from own product grown on their allotments.

Nature, culture, and day trips
In the direct surroundings of this terrace shaped mini quinta you can find a river and a dammed lake where you can cool off if you are bored with the swimming pool. There's also the possibility of fishing and renting of pedal boats. Along the lake there are multiple hike and bike routes, some starting from the campsite itself.

The small town of Penalva do Castelo is just 3 kilometers away, here you can find some supermarkets, cafés, the post office and a municipal swimming pool. A bit further away, 7 kilometers, is the town of Mangualde with a larger shopping area, and the Senhora do Castelo church. Nearby Mangualde you can also find the artificial beach 'Praia Livebeach', the biggest artificial beach in Europe!

A visit to Serra d'Estrela is definitely recommended if you enjoy nature. With high mountain chains, blue mountain lakes, and deep river valleys. De historical city of Viseu and the student city of Coïmbra are also worth a visit.
