There is a steep path down to the lakeside beach but here you can enjoy lovely views across the lake to the vast mountains beyond. This is a lively family campsite located right by beautiful Lake Garda. Visit the pretty fortified town of Sirmione on the peninsula at the southern end of the lake. Twenty-nine miles to the west is the town of Brescia. Here you can visit Italy’s largest museum of armour set in an ancient castle.
