Chateau de l'Eperviere is a top quality 'Castels' parc in the grounds of a delightful 16th century chateau. Ideal as both a stopover and for longer stays. Located just 16km from the A6 Autoroute du Soleil, Gigny is justly popular as an overnight stop for those en-route south.

However, you will find that it is also a rewarding place for a longer stay. Its excellent facilities include a delightful restaurant in the chateau and a super pool complex with both indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi and sauna....

The lake is home to many ducks, and a short stroll leads to a river, the ideal spot for fishing. This is an excellent area for walkers and cyclists, so why not hire some bikes and go exploring?

Château de l’Epervière is located a five minute drive from the small village of Sennecey-le-Grand, a typical Burgundy village, with a small selection of bars and restaurants. The old market town of Tournus, on the banks of the River Saône, is situated nine miles south of site. This is an attractive old town that retains much Medieval charm.

Children will love Touro-Parc, a leisure park with a whole host of activities in Romanèche-Thorins, about an hour’s drive from the site. Archéodrome de Bourgogne is an open-air museum with life size models illustrating the early history of Burgundy, located just outside Beaune.
