Plenty of woods and lakes
Le Château de Montrouant campsite is surrounded by woods and lakes, perfect for walking, cycling and fishing. You can test your strength against other guests here on the jeu-de-boules pitch or during other competitions. Or the farmer might take the children on the tractor and organise wine tasting or a bingo evening for the parents.
Local wine is pure and natural!
There is a restaurant 1½ kilometres away, and there is also the possibility to take away meals and drinks from the bar. And of course there is fresh bread every morning. The campsite has a small swimming pool with a section for toddlers, a playground and a mini tennis court. The local Charolais-Brionnais wine is pure and natural and without any sort of additives.
Local markets
This small but wonderful campsite is the place to come for a well-deserved rest, and you will be treated with every respect. If you want to explore the surroundings, the architecture in Paray-le-Monial is an option, as it the equestrian town of Cluny with its historic buildings, Mâcon with its excellent gastronomy, cycling on the Voie Verte cycle route, various chateaux and the local markets, such as the one in La Clayette.
