South Brittany
Brittany is beautiful! A bit rough, very green, lots of beaches and special stones! And you don't have to go far for the latter. In front of the campsite is a field with menhirs, huge stones where people used to be busy practicing faith and rituals. They are placed in a long line, also called alignment. Walk there this holiday! Talking about walking, you can walk to the beautiful sandy beach in half an hour. Or would you prefer to take the shuttle bus? This runs for a small contribution in the summer months both to the beach and to various tourist spots. A day in nature, is of course, best enjoyed by bicycle. The Quiberon peninsula is around the corner and is very varied. From pristine nature with pointed cliffs to typical villages with blue shutters and many colourful hydrangeas. Fancy a day trip to the city? The fortified city of Vannes is very versatile with a marina, medieval remains, art and a wonderful atmosphere. The cosy city centre has old-fashioned cobblestone streets and colourful half-timbered houses. And you can buy delicious cheeses and pastries. Enjoy!
