Village de la Plage is first and foremost an ideal choice for a sand and sunshine holiday, as the superb beach and clear blue waters lie just a short walk away through a line of sand dunes. Yet the parc also has masses of facilities including waterslides, heated pool, a retractable roof and paddling pool, not to mention activities that include entertainment throughout the season. La Plage is a quiet and very attractive parc, neatly divided by trees and hedges and set amidst the well-kept gardens of an old Breton farmhouse. Beyond the parc, La Trinité-sur-Mer, offers yachting and regattas plus a popular market, and you’re also just 5 minutes drive from the famous Menhir stones of Carnac.

You need hardly leave the parc, as it also offers a shop, restaurant, bar and launderette. The active fishing port of Guilvinec itself is just a short walk, while the many contrasts of the Pays Bigouden’s stunning scenery are also well worth discovering.

In easy reach is Carnac Plage, a popular seaside resort, where further inland are the Standing Stones. Also visit the medieval harbour at Auray and sample the goods at its weekly market, or take a drive to Morbihan for some fun on the go-carting circuit at Kart56.

Hier een fijne vakantie in juni gehad. Werkelijk alles zag er keurig uit. Schoon sanitair, prettig personeel en fantastische omgeving. Aanrader

Een genot was het ons verblijf op La Plage. Het sanitair was erg schoon, ondanks de grote drukte in het hoogseizoen. Op loopafstand van Trinité. Wij hebben hier fantastisch langs de kust gefietst. De ligging aan het strand is fantastisch. Zwembad is wel erg klein en koud.

TIPS:

"De omgeving heeft veel te bieden, menhirs bij Carnac, Quiberon, Golf van Morbihan, Vannes en strandlopen."

De camping is mooi gelegen. Lekker direct aan een breed schoon zandstrand. Het zwembad is niet bijzonder, niet groot, gelukkig zijn de glijbanen heel leuk voor de kinderen. Verder was het heerlijk afkoelen in het zwembd. Het gratis busje naar La Trinite sur Mer is wel prettig, hier hebben wij regelmatig gebruik van gemaakt. Het personeel helemaal prettig in de omgang. Rondom de camping zijn mooie wandelmogelijkheden. Het restaurant aan het strand met fijn uitzicht over de baai is een aanrader. Heerlijke weken gehad op camping de la Plage.

De ligging van de campings is mooi aan het water. Veel jongelui op de camping die met elkaar optrokken. Genoeg sanitaire voorzieningen. 'S avonds harde wind van zee. Vanaf een uurtje of 5 al met warme kleren aangezeten. Het zwembad is erg klein. Leuke glijbaan. Omdat de buurt geklaagd had was het zwembad 's morgens pas open om 10.00. En 's middags dicht tot half 4, en weer open tot 7 uur. Dat is dus niet veel zwembadplezier. Wel mooi groot strand aan zee. 's morgens broodjes halen in erg klein bakkerijtje. Lange wachtrijen. En prijzen bij de camping mbt brood, drinken en eten was erg prijzig. Wij vonden het geen 4 sterren camping.
