Tent Guide

The classic among rental tents. In the fully equipped bungalow tents, you sleep on comfortable beds. The surface area and layout can vary considerably, even per provider.

These spacious tents (23-28m², depending on the provider) sleep 5-6 people and usually have three sleeping compartments. The side of the tent can often be fully opened and set up as an awning, extending the living space outdoors.

In the bungalow tent, you will find everything of the quality you are used to at home. The kitchen area has a fridge with a freezer compartment and usually a 4-burner gas stove. Outside, there is often a complete garden set with a parasol, and in some cases, sun loungers.

The terms Safari Tent and Lodge Tent are often used interchangeably. Sometimes also the name Orient tent. We use the term Safari Tent for the version without sanitary facilities inside the tent. You will find that in the Lodge Tent.

The safari tent has a living area of 27-35m², depending on the provider, and features a wooden floor with a veranda and awning. Because the tent walls stand vertically instead of slanted like a bungalow tent, there is even more space.

And although the layout and amenities may differ, they have one thing in common: the atmospheric decoration. Often there is a hammock, and you sit outside at a comfortable wooden dining set.

Tunnel tents are particularly beautiful to look at. The Cabanon brand, for example, is a stylish tunnel tent from France, made of durable material and a space-winner due to the arched construction.

The tunnel tent is very spacious, usually for 6 people, and has a fixed groundsheet (bathtub style), so the tent remains draft-free, rainwater cannot run in, and bugs stay outside.

Do not mistake the possibilities! Here too, there are sleeping compartments with real beds and a surface area comparable to a bungalow tent. A gas stove and a refrigerator are also included.

Lodge tents are very luxurious. The most luxurious version even has a bathroom with shower, washbasin, and toilet, and a floor and terrace with wooden decking. Because the tent walls stand vertically, there is more space.

The large Lodge Tent is very spacious (27-35m², depending on the provider), atmospherically and comfortably laid out, and sleeps six people. The sleeping area consists of a "children's room" with three single beds and a master bedroom with a comfortable double bed.

The other luxury can be found in the real bathroom with shower, washbasin, and toilet. In the living area stands the spacious kitchen unit with running water. If that isn't luxury! Of course, a complete inventory and extra storage space have also been thought of. For a sixth person, there is a camp bed in the living area.

A Tipi, Wigwam, or Indian Tent is about 7 meters in diameter, and the highest point is about 9 meters high. Inside the tipi are 6 sleeping places. Furthermore, there is a cooking facility on gas with 2 burners and a barbecue (in the middle of the tent, where traditionally the fire belongs).

Often with simple cooking facilities and a unique camping feeling – ideal for adventurers.
