Punta Spin is located around 3km from the ancient city of Grado. It's a short step onto the beach where you can play beach volleyball and relax at the campsite's beach bar. This is a perfect spot for all ages but take care when the tide turns as this can cause some waves. You can go sailing or water skiing from the long jetty.

It has all the facilities you would expect from a four-star campsite, including sport grounds for football and tennis, mini golf, three large swimming pools with a safe children's pool, supermarket, beauty centre and disco. The entertainment team are on hand to amuse you during the holiday. There's a restaurant/pizzeria which serves delicious seafood.

The Adriatic sea boasts plenty of lagoons and isles between Venice and Trieste. On one of these isles you'll find the town of Grado and its historic centre has a lovely church and beautiful Byzantine mosaics from the 6th century. The island is connected to the mainland by two bridges. The Grado beaches face the bay of Trieste and on the other side of the gulf is Trieste.

The small city of Aquileia on the mainland is worth a visit. On the other side of the gulf is Trieste, which is built on a hillside and still preserves its original city gate from the first century. Trieste is a pleasant town with a lively waterfront, ancient palaces, good shops and friendly terraces.
