Camping Portofelice is one of the most well-maintained campsites in the region offering a selection of sports and play facilities. The campsite has an amazing pool complex, complete with children's pool and slides. By taking the forest path, you can access the sandy beach where the children can build amazing sand castles and have lots of fun swimming. Portofelice is Italian for 'Gateway to happiness', a promise that this beautifully landscaped campsite is sure to deliver.

The campsite is attractively laid out, the swimming pool is surrounded by palm trees and you can also find sports pitches and even a mini-go-kart track. Every member of the family is sure to find something to appeal here! There are a variety of shops and a supermarket, as well as a restaurant and a bar. Would you like to remain active during your holiday, then take an aqua fitness class, go and play tennis or hire a bike. Even more appealing might be hiring a rickshaw and taking the family on an outing through the surrounding area. If ever you want to get away, then you can quickly reach romantic Venice or the lively Lido di Jesolo. But first: start your day in style with a delicious cappuccino at the bar!

From Eraclea Mare you can take a trip by car or bus to Punta Sabbioni and from there take the boat directly to the Piazza San Marco (Saint Mark's square). From here, if you wish, you can walk over the Bridge of Sighs, along the Doge's Palace where you can see all the magnificent, ancient buildings. Why not take a trip to the islands of Murano and Burano in the Venice Lido? These are definitely worth a visit. It is also nice to take the children to the water park in Lido di Jesolo, or enjoy dining out and ambling down the boulevard, which is perfect for shopping. If you are in search of authentic Italy, then you need to drive to the Italian hinterland in search of charming, little villages with their own delightful piazzas. From the campsite it's only half an hour's drive to the colourful town of Caorle, where you can enjoy outstanding food!
