Camping le Capanne is an excellent choice for a relaxing family holiday, ideally located in the heart of Tuscany, just a mile from the nearest beach. Holiday life here centres around the ivy-clad bar and restaurant, housed in a converted Tuscan barn. Welcome shade is provided by tall pine, olive and eucalyptus trees, or you can cool off in the lagoon-style pool. Surrounded by a large, grassy sunbathing area and with a hidden water slide, it is sure to be a hit.

There is a wealth of activities available on site, from a popular soccer school and children’s club for the little ones to exercise classes and entertainment for the whole family. The nearby road and railway line make this an ideal base from which to explore, but with so much going on it will be difficult to drag the family away to discover this beautiful area.

Le Capanne is located one and a half miles from the village of La California, where you will find a small selection of shops and cafés and Cecina (2.5 miles), has excellent facilities. The nearest beach is just over a mile from site at Marina di Bibbona. Pisa is just a 40 minute drive along the stunning coastal road. Noise may be heard from the nearby road and railway line.

Visit the unique white sands and clear turquoise waters of Vada beach (7 miles). Enjoy a thrilling day out at the Siena Palio, a daring bareback horse race around Il Campo that takes place twice a year on 2 July and 16 August.
