A beautiful campsite in an ideal location, on a wooded hilltop of the Montalbano and within walking distance of the pleasant village San Baronto. You will camp here in the countryside but close to pretty villages, (artists) towns and sights. Barco Reale is a small, attractive parc in an idyllic setting which makes it ideal for a relaxed, rustic holiday. Set on a steep Tuscan hilltop, close to the medieval town of Pistoia, it also offers spectacular views of the countryside that surrounds it.

The parc has two lovely pools with a grassed area for sunbathing and a bar and restaurant with a terrace. The pizza and pasta here are so good that even the locals eat here! In the campsite's main building you will find the reception, restaurant, pizzeria, ice-cream parlour and a small grocery shop.

This is a super base when you want to sample the authentic Tuscan lifestyle - with gems like the cities of Florence and Lucca within easy reach, not to mention Pisa, with its famous leaning tower. Excursions are also arranged by the parc in high season.

There is plenty to do in the vicinity of Barco Reale. There is an ecological park with a farmhouse close by, great for the children! Famous cities such as Florence, Siena, Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci) and Pisa are within easy reach of Barco Reale camp site.
