Camping Montescudaio is located in a beautiful woodland setting in the northern part of the Maremma region. One of the biggest campsites in Italy, in virgin mediterranean woodland with private, isolated space for each camper. All the pitches are surroundded by trees or shrubs and offer privacy.
There are 3 pools including a children's pool which has a slide. In high season there are lots of activities around the pool to keep the children and even the adults entertained. The pool complex even lends itself perfectly to soak up the sunshine and enjoy a drink and a snack. In Cecina Mare (2.5 miles from the camping) is a golden beach where you can rent sunbeds and parasols. But there are even more beaches in the surrounding area of the camping.
Montescudaio has a superb restaurant with terrace.
Montescudaio is perfectly located for visiting the beautiful cities of Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Florence. Camping Montescudaio is an excellent starting point for excursions, which can be ordered at the main reception of the camping. At the main reception you can also ask for information on cycle routes through the superb surroundings. WIFI on the campsite.

Geweldige gastvrije camping met mooie ruime plekken. Schaduwrijk. Verder een fijn en mooi aangelegd zwembad. Voor het eten hoef je de camping niet af, werkelijk goed te noemen.

Wij hadden onze huurtent staan op een mooie plek in de schaduw. Dat is dan ook meteen wat zo fijn is aan deze camping in Toscane; er is een bos in de buurt en er is veel schaduw. Verder lekker gezwommen en tot rust gekomen.

Afgelopen jaar niet naar onze camping geweest, was namelijk gesloten. Wij verheugen ons nu al op onze vakantie in 2013. Gaan dan weer naar deze gastvrije en schaduwrijke camping. Fijn zwembad, grote kampeerplaatsen. Strand bij Vada prima. Genoeg te zien met de auto. Hebben er weer zin in.

Een heel mooie camping maar erg groot en met heel veel Nederlanders. Net een nederlandse enclave. Er zijn bijna geen Italianen meer te vinden. Leuk voor mensen met kinderen die veel contact zoeken met andere kinderen. Wij waren er afgelopen zomervakantie en hadden helaas de pech dat we twee enorme regenbuien over ons heen kregen en toen bleek de schaduwrijke plek van ons toch wat minder ideaal. Het water stroomde letterlijk onder onze tent door. Het eten op de camping was matig. Als je lekker wilt eten kun je beter naar een camping verderop rijden op camping il Borgo in Guardistallo is een fantastisch restaurant.
TIPS:
"San Gimignano moet je gezien hebben. Volterra is ook erg leuk"
