This is one of the best campsites on the Tuscan coast with a beautiful swimming pool and direct access to the beach.

Campeggio Pappasole is a stunning family camp site on the Tuscan coast, in a lovely part of the province opposite the island of Elba. A footpath will take you the 700 metres from the camp site to the beach. It is a white sandy beach that slopes gently down into the sea. The beach is therefore suitable for small children.

Pappasole camp site also has a lovely, partly refurbished swimming pool complex on the grounds. The site also has a new games room.

There are many renovated sports facilities including tennis, volleyball, minigolf, sailing courses and sports fields with grandstands. The good amenities, including a complete shopping centre with a restaurant where they serve delicious Tuscan specialities make Pappasole camp site extra attractive. The entertainment team provides plenty of fun for young and old and the bouncy castles will also go down a treat!

Camping Pappasole is in a great place for day trips to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the fascinating island of Elba and of course, the the two Tuscan cities famous for the arts, Florence and Siena. Further inland from the Tuscan coast, there are many hiking and biking trails throughout the Tuscan hilly landscape. This is where you will also find the lovely vineyards and quaint villages with the most authentic trattorias allowing you to savour the Tuscan specialities.

The Parco Naturale della Maremma is a unique nature reserve, a river delta with woods, marshes and numerous birds and is located at Grosseto (about 40 minutes away). A trip by boat from Piombino harbour to the lovely island of Elba should not be missed!
