Barco Reale campsite is located on a hill in the middle of pine trees and oak forests, and offers stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. A beautiful campsite in an ideal location, on a wooded hilltop of the Montalbano and within walking distance of the pleasant village San Baronto. You will camp here in the countryside but close to pretty villages, (artists) towns and sights. An attractive hilltop parc with an ideal location for exploring and a unrivalled view from the swimming pool.
Barco Reale is a small, attractive parc in an idyllic setting which makes it ideal for a relaxed, rustic holiday. Set on a steep Tuscan hilltop, close to the medieval town of Pistoia, it also offers spectacular views of the countryside that surrounds it.
The parc has two lovely pools with a grassed area for sunbathing and a bar and restaurant with a terrace. The pizza and pasta here are so good that even the locals eat here! In the campsite's main building you will find the reception, restaurant, pizzeria, ice-cream parlour and a small grocery shop.
This is a super base when you want to sample the authentic Tuscan lifestyle - with gems like the cities of Florence and Lucca within easy reach, not to mention Pisa, with its famous leaning tower. Excursions are also arranged by the parc in high season.
There is plenty to do in the vicinity of Barco Reale. There is an ecological park with a farmhouse close by, great for the children! Famous cities such as Florence, Siena, Vinci (birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci) and Pisa are within easy reach of Barco Reale camp site. A day on the beach is highly recommended, you will be there in no time! Tip: discover the lovely surroundings by bike.

Wij gaan regelmatig naar Italië maar dit was voor ons toch wel een van de toppers. De camping is super, de omgeving fantastisch en dan ook nog eens lekker weer en heerlijk eten. Schoon en goed onderhouden sanitair. Helaas een minpunt en dat waren de matrassen van onze accommodatie, pfff daarom een 7 voor algemeen maar dat is dus voor de bedden...

Werkelijk een perfect onderhouden camping met mooi zwembad, vooral de ligging. Fijne tent van Nederlandse verhuurorganisatie. Onze eerste vakantie in Toscane, wat is het hier mooi.. En kant en klaar kamperen is ons meer dan goed bevallen. En dan ook nog eens heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant.

Goede, rustige camping met aardig personeel. Wij hebben op deze camping een fijne vakantie gehad, alles was voorhanden. De ligging is lekker centraal overal dichtbij.

Zaten hier in een bungalowtent van Rent-a-Tent, een huurtentje haha. Maar dat is werkelijk een mooi onderkomen, alles compleet aanwezig en fijne medewerkers van deze tentorganisatie. Camping Barco Reale is erg goed verzorgd, enthousiast animatieteam, prima voorzieningen. De ligging van de camping is mooi, op een berg en centraal tov van diverse mooie steden en bezienswaardigheden.

Fantastische camping met heerlijke ligging en fijn zwembad. Veel animatie, maar na 23.00 rust. Restaurant op de camping prima en het restaurant aan de weg ook erg aan te bevelen. En onze charmante safaritent missen we nu sowieso, aanrader.
TIPS:
"Bezoek zeker Montecatini Terme Alto, klein plaatsje, mooi met leuke restaurantjes, nog niet overvol met toeristen. Verder Pistoie met grote weekmarkt met streekproducten etc."

Fantastische camping, mooi uitzicht vanaf het fijne zwembad. Hadden het geluk dat wij in een Sunlodge zaten, perfect geregeld alles met P-plaats. Verder superlocatie. In naseizoen hier gezeten, wel wat minder qua voorraad in winkel en menukaart. Maar daar staat tegenover een perfect locatie en goed onderhouden camping en zeer prettig personeel.

Net terug. Fantastisch goed onderhouden en goed gelegen camping. Onze bungalowtent stond er mooi en was goed ingericht. Sanitair tiptop. Personeel aardig. Zeker een aanrader in het voorjaar!
