ECOCAMPING AWARD CRITERIA

How camping companies receive the ECOCAMPING award:
✔ Appointment of an ECOCAMPING representative
✔ On-site check of environmental and nature protection by ECOCAMPING consultants
✔ Signing of the ECOCAMPING mission statement by the management
✔ Creation of an action plan for the goals of the mission statement with at least 10 improvements for the following three years
✔ Documentation of the annual consumption of electricity, heating energy, water and the amount of residual waste during the past three years including CO2 accounting
✔ Inform guests, employees, partners and the public about ECOCAMPING and the associated goals and activities

How camping companies keep the ECOCAMPING award:
✔ Participation in the ECOCAMPING network
✔ Implementation of measures to improve environmental and nature protection
✔ Update of the action plan to the goals of the ECOCAMPING mission statement at least for the following year
✔ Monitoring the annual consumption of electricity, heating energy, water and the amount of residual waste including CO2 balancing
✔ Inform guests, employees, partners and the public about ECOCAMPING and the associated goals and activities

The fulfillment of the criteria is checked by ECOCAMPING auditors.

The auditors are checked by the ECOCAMPING board.
