Camping El Pla de Mar is quietly located on the edge of Malgrat de Mar, a lively small holiday resort on Spain’s Costa Brava. It is a destination for true beach lovers. The El Pla de Mar campsite lies between Blanes and Malgrat de Mar, near the mouth of the Tordera River, and just 50 metres from Punta de la Tordera beach.

Camping El Pla de Mar enjoys an exceptional location on the Costa Barcelona. Both young and old will be delighted by the friendly and sociable atmosphere of this 3-hectare campsite.

The location is ideal: right by the beach.
Directly on the Mediterranean Sea, you can enjoy the large pool with its waterfalls, fountains and whirlpools. The youngest guests can splash around in the paddling pool, while older children have fun in the bubbling children’s whirlpool. If you feel like doing absolutely nothing, simply relax on the lawn surrounding the pool complex.

Prefer the sea? Just cross the road at the campsite exit and you’ll find yourself on Punta de la Tordera beach. The pool complex, the restaurant with bar and the mini club with entertainment programme during the high season all promise a relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Malgrat de Mar is now a lively holiday centre, yet its old town still radiates the typical atmosphere of Catalonia. You’ll find inviting restaurants, bars and cafés everywhere, and in the evening Malgrat offers a wide range of entertainment. Its location between the mountains, with the Montnegre Natural Park on one side and the Mediterranean Sea on the other, creates an ideal holiday climate.

Malgrat de Mar is only about 1.5 kilometres away and can also be reached by local bus or by bicycle. The railway station, from where you can take the train to Barcelona, is at the same distance.

The vibrant cities of Girona and Barcelona are 40 and 60 kilometres away respectively and are perfect for extensive sightseeing and shopping trips. Another highlight is the Marineland Catalunya water park, just 3 kilometres away.
