Le Palace

Camping Le Palace is a wooded 16-hectare holiday park just 400 metres from the beach. This campsite in France is a place for a holiday with all the creature comforts! The wealth of amenities here will ensure that you don’t feel the need of anything. The proud centrepiece of this campsite is the leisure pool, a large-scale aquapark that will keep you having fun in the water for hours! There is a large outdoor pool with slides, ‘streams’ running along sculpted riverbanks, and a semi-covered pool. All this dotted with palm trees — you’ll think you’re on a tropical island. Camping Le Palace also has an on-site shop and restaurant (open in high season), which also does takeaways.

Those not feeling like swimming can head for the sports grounds (equipped for several sports), the tennis court or one of the other facilities, or let the on-site entertainment team absorb you.

There are of course gorgeous sandy beaches within reach of the campsite, but also plenty for culture vultures to do and see in the direct vicinity. Some tips for days out around this campsite in France: discover the village of Soulac with its Jugendstil villas and covered market; visit some of the Médoc vineyards, the Graves headland, or take a boat trip to Royan. A little further away is the Dune of Pilat, the highest natural sand dune in Europe and certainly worth a visit.
