Camping Lac de Thoux is a pleasant campsite located directly on a lovely lake in the Gers region in the middle of France! The camping truly offers all the ingredients for a carefree holiday for the entire family. The children will enjoy splashing about in the swimming pool with wading pool and water slide! Nature lovers will also be in heaven, because the area is filled with possibilities for walking and biking!
Location: Camping Lac de Thoux is in a perfect location for both those seeking peace and quiet and those interested in culture. The campsite is not far from the village of Thoux and lies around 45 km from Toulouse.
The lovely, charming landscape of the Gers region is one of the most beautiful in this part of France. Thoux Lake stretches over 70 hectares. Rolling hills, lovely castles and picturesque villages are certainly worth discovering. You will find shops in the nearby village of L’Isle-Jourdain, and there is a bustling market on Saturdays. It's a wonderful opportunity for a taste of the French lifestyle. A very special experience is a visit to the "pink city" of Toulouse, with many old buildings, marvellous museums and, of course, the Canal du Midi. Wij boften met uitzicht op het meer en op een rustige plek. Verder prettig en behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader voor rustzoekers

Wij hebben het prima gehad. Aardig personeel. Onze safaritent was erg netjes en groot, wij hadden helaas geen uitzicht op het meer. Het meer is geen zwemmeer. Je kunt wel waterfietsen, kanovaren of zeilen. Onze, nog jonge kinderen, hebben zich uitstekend vermaakt in het zwembad. Voor oudere kinderen is dit zwembad niet echt geschikt.

"Bezoek zeker Toulouse, erg leuke stad."

Ons verblijf in de luxe tent was een 10 waard. Verder een camping die in een wat saaie omgeving ligt. Je moet wel een stukje rijden om wat te zien. Zwembadje op camping leuk qua opzet, niet groot maar voldeed... Wat echter groot nadeel was dat dit zwembad ook voor de omgeving toegankelijk was dus regelmatig zomaar ineens overspoeld met gasten, jammer. Hierdoor voor ons een reden om niet al te positief te zijn. Het meer vonden wij ook niet bijzonder, klein strandje waar je kunt zwemmen. Verder animatie allemaal in Frans. Dus alleen onze accommodatie een aanrader.

Camping is prima, met leuk zwembad en glijbaan. Accommodatie was dit jaar een lodgetent en dat was luxe te noemen. Heerlijk ons eigen sanitair. Meer vonden wij niets.

Mooi zwembad, meer niet direct te bereiken vanaf de camping. Sanitair kan wel een opknapbeurt gebruiken. Voornamelijk Fransen.

Prima camping hoor. Prachtig zwembad. Meer beperkt. Onze tent was goed ingericht maar helaas niet schoon. De omgeving is erg leuk, wel steeds een heel eind rijden, zelfs de supermarkt ligt een eindje weg.
