Les Prades

Les Prades is a lovely green French campsite on the River Tarn. Its setting in the lush heart of the Gorges du Tarn and within the Grands Causses Regional Nature Park makes it a great base for discovering the Aveyron and Lozère departments. Expect peace, space, plenty of nature — and lots to do.

A family campsite with great facilities and activities
On site you’ll find a 200 m² water complex with a fun slide, a waterfall, a hot tub and a large toddler paddling pool. There’s plenty for active guests too: you can hire canoes and stand-up paddles and practise on the river. You can also play on the tennis court, the volleyball court or at the table-tennis tables. For basic groceries, the campsite shop is open in high season. Don’t feel like cooking? Grab something at the snack bar / restaurant. For drinks, head to the bar and the friendly terrace.

The area around Camping Les Prades
From the campsite you can enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including canoeing on the Tarn with an 8 km route for children and a 16 km route for adults. Activities such as fishing, caving, climbing and horse riding are also possible nearby. Walkers will feel right at home here — you can get information about different routes at reception. You’ll be staying in a stunning natural area, with the Cévennes as neighbours. Mountain bikers can explore the Gorges du Tarn too. Looking for a sporty challenge? The campsite is near Millau, described as the capital of outdoor sports (climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, caving, paragliding, canoeing, mountain walks …) — so go for it!
