Camping with a royal touch – holidays at a château or country estate
Camping at a château or on a historic country estate is a unique holiday experience, found mainly in France. These special campsites are often small to medium-sized and set in truly beautiful surroundings. They offer everything you need for a relaxed, family-friendly holiday, while staying close to nature and history.
Many of these château campsites feature a lovely swimming pool, a playground for children, a small restaurant and sometimes even a location by a river or gentle stream. There is always plenty of space for children to play, run around and enjoy games of hide and seek among the old walls and tree-lined grounds.
Most of these campsites are located in the French countryside, surrounded by charming villages, rolling landscapes and nearby vineyards. It is the perfect setting to experience the real French way of life. In the morning, a visit to the local bakery for a fresh baguette is never far away – a simple pleasure that quickly becomes part of the holiday routine.
A stay at a château or country estate campsite combines space, character and a relaxed atmosphere, making it an unforgettable holiday for families who enjoy camping with a touch of elegance and plenty of room for children to explore.
