Amarin campsite is peacefully located in natural surroundings but still close to the beach about 3 km north of the 1700 year old town of Rovinj and with views of the town centre. The campsite forms part of the Amarin holiday village so you can take advantage of all it has to offer including a restaurant, pizzeria, hairdresser, tennis court, midget golf, table tennis and swimming pool. You can also hire boats and bikes.
Entertainment, amusement and water sports
But the camp site itself offers many facilities. There is a lovely swimming pool where one of the slides ends up in the sea and there is a good amusement and entertainment programme for all ages. Camping Amarin even has several shallow small bays, which are ideal for your youngest children. If you like water sports you will definitely love the water sport facilities of camping Amarin. It is possible to go water skiing, sailing and to take the banana boat, the clear blue sea is perfect if you like to go snorkelling.
Moreover you will find a restaurant, bar, supermarket, dog shower, a small harbour and you can take part in a number sports including many various watersports. The animation team of camping Amarin organises evening shows and musicals around the bar/restaurant complex. The campsite even organises exiting excursions on quads! During the high season youth will have a wonderful time at the open air disco bar.
Rovinj and Vrsar
In the area around Amarin campsite you will find two villages, Rovinj and Vrsar, both centuries old and where time seems to have stood still. Well worth a visit! You can even visit Rovinj from the campsite using the water taxi. But really the whole Istrian peninsula is worth visiting. If you have never been in this part of Croatia before you will be amazed by the beauty of this part of the Adriatic coast, with its rocks, bays and small islands.

Tijdens onze zonvakantie op deze zeer grote camping logeerden wij in een luxe stacaravan die mooi en nieuw was. Het strand was slechts een paar minuutjes van onze vakantiewoning. Goed gegeten bij het restaurant bij het zwembad. Sanitair zag er schoon uit op de camping, wel wat gedateerd, maar schoon is in onze ogen juist nu toch het belangrijkste.

Hier een topvakantie in een fijn appartement gehad. Zwembad en strand op 3 minuutjes lopen. Het stadje Rovinje is heel sfeervol.

Leuke camping aan zee met mooi uitzicht op rovinje. Vergelijkbaar met andere campings in istrie met kiezelstrand en grote plaatsen tussen de bossen. Sanitair wel wat verouderd maar word wel netjes bijgehouden. Veel animatie 's avonds.

"Met de taxiboot naar de overkant. Vooral 's avonds leuk."

Wij hebben echt genoten, wat is het hier mooi. De camping is prima, onze bungalowtent erg compleet ingericht en stond erg mooi. Verder is het sanitair gedateerd maar werd gelukkig wel goed schoon gehouden.

levendige camping met vriendelijk personeel die vanaf de vroege ochtend tot de late avond bezig zijn om het de toeristen naar de zin te maken. elke avond animatie met een mooi uitzicht over de zee als je op het terras zit. De prijzen voor een drankje of hapje zijn voor Nederlandse begrippen zeer schappelijk. (zeker ten opzichte van Center Parcs)
TIPS:
"boot naar Rovinj en daar vandaan een tocht met de Powerboat naar het St. Andreaseiland. Het ijs op de camping is heerlijk en ook niet te vergeten speenvarken eten. Vergeet niet je waterschoenen want die heb je wel nodig net zoals je duikbril want het water is ontzettend helder en niet koud."

De camping is werkelijk top, huur een bungalowtent bij een van de Nederlandse kampeerorganisaties. Het hotel en appartementen raden wij af! Kleine appartementen, ongezellig en hotel niet op naar huis over te schrijven. Wij hebben hier in ieder geval een fantastische vakantie gehad, mooie stranden, mooie zwembaden. Wat verouderd sanitair maar de meeste troep die wij tegen kwamen was van de kampeerders zelf..... Istrië is zeker de moeite waard en vanaf deze camping heerlijk.

Fijne gastvrije camping, goed gelegen, gezellig om ook 's avonds eens een wandeling te maken langs het water en te genieten van een drankje op het terras met fantastisch uitzicht over het water!

het is een hele fijne camping er valt veel te doen en ik ben er al 4 keer geweest word dit jaar mijn 5de keer.

Yes, the campsite is situated directly on the Adriatic coast with views of Rovinj’s old town. Guests can enjoy a long pebble beach with shallow areas, as well as three seawater swimming pools located above the beach.
From mid-May to mid-September, the campsite offers a full entertainment programme for all ages. There is a Kids Club, Teen Club, evening mini disco, live shows, karaoke and sports activities for adults.
Guests have access to several restaurants, a pizzeria, bars, a supermarket and various shops within the holiday resort. There are also extensive sports facilities and a wide range of water sports including surfing, jet skiing, kayaking and boat rental.
