Camping Chateau de Fonrives is a beautiful five-star campsite and is located near a beautiful castle with a small fishing lake. At this charming campsite you will find a beautiful swimming pool complex, a sauna and a fitness room. The swimming pool consists of several pools, a children's pool, spectacular slides and lower slides for the younger children. One of the swimming pools can even be covered in bad weather. Sun loungers have been set up around the pool and parents can visit the wellness center for a moment of relaxation.

The campsite is located in an area where it is still wonderfully quiet. Between the beautiful towns of Bergerac and Villeneuve-sur-Lot, both worth a visit. In this area you will find many castles and fortified fortresses. Sometimes you look back centuries in time. The medieval town of Pujols is 42 km from the campsite and you should definitely visit it and enjoy the view over Villeneuve-sur-Lot. You arrive at the gate of the town via a steep hiking trail. (you can also reach this village by car). It is also nice to see that many hikers have gone before you and will probably follow because Pujols is part of the GR652 walking route that has already been followed by many Pilgrims during their journey to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. The campsite is also a 1-hour drive from Sarlat and Agen. The city of Villeréal is 3 km from the campsite. After a walk of about 30 minutes you arrive in this cozy town. On the main square you will find a 14th-century market hall, surrounded by medieval houses, cafes and restaurants.
