Close to Bidart town centre and only a mile from the loveliest beaches that the French Basque coast has to offer, Oyam holiday park and campsite is an ideal camping destination for families. The camping pitches are mostly sunny. Those seeking rest and relaxation are very much at the right campsite. You can while away the hours at the swimming pool or volleyball courts on site. Table tennis, pétanque, tennis (on a small court) and several other sports can be played on site at the sports grounds. The little ones can have fun in the playground. There’s a great entertainment team arranging fun activities for both children and adults.

Oyam campsite has a snack bar-pizzeria which also serves takeaways and sells bread. Sometimes, there’s even a small market held at this campsite in France: a very convenient way of getting some fresh groceries!

The area around Oyam campsite has a great deal to offer: there are several inspiring museums nearby, and less than 10 km away is the lovely resort of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, which has a striking fishermen’s harbour. The pedestrianised zone allows you to wander through town to the main square, Place Louis XIV, named in honour of the Sun King’s marriage to Marie-Thérèse in the church at this spot. The Spanish border is just a short drive from the campsite!
