Brittany certainly isn’t short of magnificent beaches. So when we tell you that Des Menhirs is next to one of the best, you’ll know you’re in for a real treat.

Camping Les Menhirs is the ideal choice for a family beach holiday. The parc itself features an excellent swimming pool complex, with a giant waterslide and waterchute, covered pool and even a little slide into the children’s pool. Children can also go for pony rides just off the parc, while adults can hire bikes to go around the peninsula as well as enjoying the small gym, solarium and jacuzzi and a number of games such as football, basketball and boules.

This parc boasts five pools, a sauna, Jacuzzi and solarium as well as free sun loungers and a sun terrace. For a fun and action packed break, this parc excels. Whether it’s pools just for the little ones, slides for the teenagers or rest and relaxation spots for the adults, there really is something for everyone.

The parc is also just a short stroll from the bustling seaside resort of Carnac Plage, which offers a wide choice of water sports, restaurants and boutiques. See the racing yachts at the harbour at nearby port Trinité-sur-Mer, and take in the stunning views along the Quiberon peninsula. There is a weekly market at the pretty town of Auray, just 20 minutes drive away, and Vannes with its aquarium just over half an hour's drive. Closer to parc, take a boat trip and watch the sand yachts racing on the beach at the Gulf of Morbihan. There are also of course Carnac's famous Standing Stones. For the adventurous there's a treetop adventure park just 8km away.
