You’ll take to Camping Les Marsouins like a fish to water. The beach and resort of Argelès is just a short stroll away. Not only is there a large heated pool, but this campsite in France’s far south is just 800 m from the Mediterranean.

Relax and enjoy. A paradise for sun lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Stroll along the boulevard, check out the local shops and enjoy the regional cuisine. Plus there is great night life here for those who fancy dancing the night away! The surrounding area is too good to miss so make sure you explore the wonders that this beautiful region has to offer.

So you can have a great day in and beside the water both ways, whether it’s at the pool or the beach. For the children, there’s a mini-club. Older children might appreciate the campsite disco. The excellent amenities at Camping Les Marsouins include free WiFi for guests and (charges apply) an Internet terminal; a snack bar, restaurant, playground, grounds set up for several sports, gym room, on-site shop and entertainment team.

Visit Collioure, an old town on the rocky coastline. Fort Miradou is amazing and worth a visit with stunning views out to sea guaranteed. Head inland too. The old town of Perpignan is a 'must see', as is the UNESCO World Heritage medieval city of Carcassonne. Its magnificent! Spain is just 25km to the south. Pay a visit to the renowned Dalí museum in Figueres or explore the deserted bays of the Costa Brava.

Camping Les Marsouins is just a mile from the centre of Argelès-sur-Mer, which is the premier destination in the Eastern Pyrenees. The mountain looming in the background is Canigou, the easternmost summit in the Pyrenees (2,784 m / 9,280 ft), visible wherever you are on the plains of Roussillon. Closer to the site, there’s a nature reserve at Sigean that will have you wondering whether you’re on an African safari: the animals roam free. You can also practice watersports in the area or make any number of sports excursions.
