Camping La Pierre Verte is located in the rolling countryside of Provence, close to Fréjus on the Cote d’Azur. Camping La Pierre Verte is a pleasant family campsite just north of Fréjus, about 8km from the Mediterranean beaches. There are plenty of facilities such as a mini-market,laundry service and bar/restaurant with a pleasant terrace. Plus there' s a lovely swimming pool with separate children's pool and slide.
This is a campsite that you really can describe as friendly and bustling. It is a family site with such an enormous range of fun activities that you will hardly ever leave the site!
The campsite is set in a beautiful pine forest with views overlooking the Esterel mountains and only 8km away form the sandy beaches of Fréjus and the lovely Côte d'Azur. This lovely campsite offers plenty of entertainment and activities during high season. You can explore the area or take a day trip out to water park ‘Aquatica’ or amusement park ‘Lunapark’. After a busy day you welcome the peace and quiet and space in La Pierre Verte again.
There is a camp shop with fresh croissants daily, a newspaper kiosk, a bar, a pizzeria and a restaurant with a pleasant terrace. Sports lovers will have the time of their lives.....
The Roman city of Fréjus is home to a number if beautiful buildings, such as the Roman amphitheatre and the church 'la Chapelle Notre Dame de Jersusalem'. The South of France, with its many terraced bars and restaurants, creates a special atmosphere that makes this part of the coastline so unique. The campsite is located between the wooded hills of the Esterel Mountains and its northern rock face. When the sun sets in the evenings it creates a red glow on the rocks above the campsite which is very scenic.

Eind augustus begin september een kleine 2 weken op La Pierre Verte gezeten. De camping is erg steil en groot qua oppervlakte. Zit je ver van iets af (bijv zwembad), bereidt je dan maar voor op een uitdagende tocht. Veel buren van ons namen dan ook de auto naar het zwembad of de lagune. Heb je hier geen problemen mee? Dan is dit een heerlijk rustige camping in het naseizoen, met veel natuur. Wij liepen zelf met kinderwagen zonder problemen de hele camping af. Restaurant is oke, typisch Frans campingrestaurant. Ligging van de camping is top. Dichtbij veel leuke plaatsen. Wij hebben zelf maar 1 avond met echte animatie meegemaakt, onze stacaravan zat hier redelijk dichtbij, en de muziek mocht hier wat ons betreft wel een standje lager.

Deze terrassencamping 12 dagen bezocht. Sfeer niet wat wij gewend zijn. Alles ligt erg ver van elkaar, er wordt dus veel met auto's gereden op en om de camping, vooral de campingkarretjes, niet veilig! Plus zijn het zwembad en de gezellige bar. Zaten in fijne accommodatie met goed en schoon sanitair.

De camping is juist mooi ruim aangelegd en inderdaad groot. De stacaravans staan daardoor zo opgesteld dat je ook privacy hebt. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van sanitair op de camping maar zag er wat ons betreft niet goed uit. De zwembaden zijn prima, niet bijzonder groot hoor, maar wel OK. De Lagune is mooi aangelegd. Wij hebben goed gegeten bij het restaurant. Verder wel wat rumoerig overdag en 's avonds. De omgeving is erg mooi, in het hoogseizoen wel rekenen op drukte op de wegen.

Heerlijk genieten aan het zandstrand bij het lagune zwembad. De omgeving is erg leuk met mooie badplaatsen en stranden. Zaten hier in een keurige stacaravan met eigen sanitair. Het sanitair op de camping is slecht. Vandaar de 6.

Prima vakantie gehad in het naseizoen. De camping heeft grote hoogteverschillen. Wij zaten in een prima stacaravan via touroperator en ook nog eens dicht bij het zwembad. Aardig personeel. Verder een goed restaurant.

Fijne camping, beetje moeilijk te vinden maar uiteindelijk wel. Mooi strand op ongeveer 15 min. rijden, misschien iets langer, maar ach?! Leuke camping met accommodaties goed verspreid, veel privacy. Restaurant/bar rederlijk. De kinderen hebben zich zeer goed vermaakt met vriendjes. Fijn zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Prima vakantie gehad.

Fijne heuvelachtige camping, mooi rustig in de heuvels gelegen. Fijne zwembaden, niet superstreng. Jammer voor de hele kleintjes geen echt peuterbad. Na 10.00 altijd file vanaf de camping. Sanitair is rommelig door al de boomnaalden, maar zeker niet vies. Superleuk uitstapje is de Gorges du Verdon (ongeveer 60 minuutjes rijden) vertrek voor 10.00 uur en je bent de camping zo uit. Leuke animatie, tja in het frans, zitten toch in Frankrijk! Onze kinderen vonden het heel leuk en hebben super genoten.
