l'Hippocampe

L'Hippocampe is set in wonderful countryside amidst olive groves ans cherry orchards. In between olive groves and cherry tree orchards, in the middle of the Haute-Provence, set directly on a lake, you will find campsite L’Hippocampe. This campsite is located in a peaceful region and has a beautiful view over the surrounding mountains and the small provincial village of Volonne, because of its high setting (450m height). Although you are not allowed to swim in the lake, you can fish or go canoeing in the lake or have a Pedalo ride. You can of course swim in the 2 heated swimming pools with slides and toddler pool. Apart from peace and quiet this campsite also offers entertainment for the whole family such as: Karaoke, cabaret, games, Miss-competitions, theme nights, dance evenings, sporting activities. For teenagers there is an underground Disco.

The campsite has an excellent swimming pool complex and this is where the children can enjoy the many activities and games organised by the campsite's animation team during the high season.

The village of Volonne is situated in the heart of Haute Provence, beside the River Durance.
