For a holiday with all the charms of Provençal, you can’t go wrong with Verdon Parc. Nestled among the scenic hills of Haut-Var, on the banks of the Verdon River, this 4-star family campsite is packed with great facilities and activities.

The campsite has an excellent pool complex consisting of a semi-Olympic pool, an outdoor paddling pool, a waterslides and a beautiful indoor heated pool, and a sun terrace with views to the hills. You can also head down to the river to relax on the banks or try some swimming or fishing.

The campsite has a great range of sports on offer, from football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, table tennis and bikepark. In summer, the campsite offers free kids and teens clubs with a wide range of activities from sporting tournaments, treasure hunts, dance, creative workshops, nature discovery and evening animations and shows. As for the little ones, they will love meeting the animals at the onsite mini farm, the outdoor playgrounds, inflatables and trampolines.

The campsite also offers a restaurant, bar, takeaway and grocery shop as well as snack bar overlooking the pool area.

Verdon Parc is ideally located for soaking up the natural beauty of the Alpes de Haute Provence region. Do not miss a visit to the Gorges du Verdon, arguably the most beautiful gorge in Europe. For a real small Provencal feel, head to the charming village of Moustiers Sainte-Marie which is surrounded by olive groves and lavender fields.

The sparkling waters of Lac d’Esparron and Sainte-Croix are both a short drive from the campsite and offer loads of activities from climbing, canoeing, rafting and pedaloes. The campsite is also just one hour from the “city of a thousand fountains”, Aix en Provence.
