About Campsite Novela Port La Nouvelle in Port-la-Nouvelle
Dreaming of a holiday in the south of France, but prefer a small, friendly campsite rather than a huge, busy holiday park? Then Camping Novela Port-la-Nouvelle could be just what you're looking for! This charming campsite is located on the edge of the seaside town of Port-la-Nouvelle, just 2 kilometres from a beautiful sandy beach. Both the town and the beach are within easy walking distance. Camping Novela Port-la-Nouvelle – small, peaceful and with everything you need
This welcoming campsite offers all the facilities you need for a lovely family holiday. Take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pool with a separate shallow children's pool, where little ones can splash and play to their hearts' content. A fantastic location in Languedoc-Roussillon – beaches, nature and culture
This beautiful region of southern France offers the perfect combination of beach holidays, stunning countryside, culture and history. Thanks to the campsite's convenient location near Port-la-Nouvelle and its sandy beach, you can leave your car behind on most days. After a pleasant walk of around 20 to 25 minutes, you'll have your feet in the sand, ready to soak up the sunshine, collect seashells or build sandcastles with the children. Feeling adventurous? Why not try stand-up paddleboarding, water skiing or kitesurfing? Your holiday is the perfect opportunity to give something new a go!
There's plenty to discover in the surrounding area too. The historic cities of Narbonne and Béziers are both excellent choices for a day out. In Narbonne, don't miss the impressive covered market, built over 100 years ago. It's still a bustling place where you can browse stalls selling fresh meat, fish, cheese, fruit and vegetables.
Béziers, often referred to as the capital of the vineyards, owes much of its prosperity to winemaking. The surrounding region still produces excellent wines, so why not pick up a bottle to enjoy back at the campsite? Before leaving, take a leisurely stroll along the lovely Allées Paul Riquet, just as the locals do. Browse the shops, stop for a drink at one of the inviting pavement cafés and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere. There's no need to rush – you're on holiday!
Another lovely place to visit is Collioure, a picturesque fishing village with a distinctive Catalan character. With its colourful houses, charming narrow streets and beautiful Mediterranean harbour, it's well worth a day trip.
