On the banks of the river Ardèche, between the Coiron plateau (the massif of an extinct volcanic range) and the gorges of the Ardèche, Domaine du Cros d’Auzon is all about holidaying in unspoilt countryside, relaxing and playing sports. The holiday homes at Domaine du Cros d’Auzon are just 700 m from the pool complex and campers’ service centre. The pool complex boasts one covered and three outdoor pools, with three slides. Whatever your age, you’ll have hours of fun in the water here: games are organised in the pools and you can do aquagym.

The range of sports at this campsite in France means you’ll always have something you enjoy: there’s football, badminton, table tennis, pétanque and basketball. Domaine du Cros d’Auzon also regularly plays host to campsite sports tournaments.

The local area is no less full of attractions than the site itself. There’s some beautiful walking country and you can also hire a mountain bike to explore the scenery. More active options include climbing, canoeing, riding and quad biking. Architecture aficionados will not want to miss seeing the heritage of the chateau of Vogüé (regarded as one of France’s very loveliest villages) or the picturesque hamlets of Labeaume, Balazuc (situated on top of a cliff high above the river), or the other ‘must-see’ local highlights, Pont d’Arc and Gerbier de Jonc.
