A rare spot, just 900 m from the beach, protected by natural dunes. Only a wonderful row of dunes separates this holiday park from a vast, sandy beach, one of the last stretches of the Languedoc coast. As well as the direct access to the beach, you can also enjoy the water park and a rich and varied programme of entertainments (certain dates only) all in a warm and friendly family atmosphere! Les Sablines is a brilliant choice if you’re looking for a holiday with sun, sea and sand, just 20 minutes from an airport.

It's likely that the wide sandy beach of Valras-Plage will become your most popular day trip. It's a great place to linger. The child-friendly beaches of the Cote Narbonnaise shelve gently into the sea. This region has lots to offer by way of excursions. Visit the old Roman city of Beziers or head for the Lake of Vendres with its wonderful mix of flora and fauna. You've probably heard of Carcassonne before. The 1-hour drive from the campsite to this medieval fortified city is well worth the trip.

Een fijne niet te grote camping. Wij zaten in keurige stacaravan met een fijne plek in de schadus. Je loopt zo naar het strand. Even tippelen hoor, door de duinen. Na 11.00 uur rustig op de camping. Valras gezellig druk plaatsje met restaurantjes.

Les Sablines is een leuke kleine camping aan de rand van Valras Plage. De voorzieningen op de camping stellen niet zo veel voor, een erg kleine campwinkel, klein restaurant voor wat friet en pizza, wel een leuk zwembad, prachtig strand en de stacaravans waren netjes en compleet wij hadden zelfs een overdekt terras. De omgeving van de camping is druk en wij hoorden wel het een en ander maar hebben ons er niet aan gestoord.
TIPS:
"Er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving, Carcasonne moet je geweest zijn."

Kleine camping, zwembad is niet supergroot. Voor kinderen tot 10 jaar prima. En fijn strand ongeveer 500 meter lopen. De supermarkt stelt niet veel voor, maar op korte afstand supermarkt met vers brood en krant. Het personeel was aardig en stond altijd voor je klaar, op zijn Frans maar daar heb je handen en voeten voor gekregen en leer je nog een aardig woordje Frans ook, wat wil je nog meer.
