Camping Acapulco is a well-maintained and modern site in a wonderful location close to many long sandy beaches. The facilities on site are superb and include a landscaped pool complex, which offers five waterslides with their own splash pool, a children’s pool, a swimming pool and jacuzzi pool. At 600m of a secured sandy beach and atlantic toboggan waterpark nearby, this quality site in the south of Saint Jean de Monts is always a popular spot for families. There is a real holiday atmosphere at this family-friendly site, where the local point is definitely the pool.

Overlooking the complex is the bright and attractive bar area, housed in a white washed, terracotta tiled building - typical of the Vendée. Relax here with a refreshing drink, while the children splash around in the water. In high season, families can enjoy a good programme of lively entertainment including discos, bingo and karaoke. Children will love playing at the well-equipped play area or in the large games room with pool table and computer games.
The sports program for your holiday includes morning jogging, cycling and at the pool, a few aquatic exercises during your holiday (aerobic, aquatic exercises, step classes).

The long, sandy beach of Plage des Mouettes is just 650 yards from site. There are shops, restaurants, bars, cafés, mini-golf and discos at Merlin Plage, a short walk from site.

The Sealand aquarium at Noirmoutier-en-l’Ile (26mls), with its marvellous exhibit of sealions in the semi open air pool, makes a good outing. Visit Le Puy du Fou, a one and a half hour drive from the site, for a spectacular re-enactment of the history of the Vendée and watch the incredible fireworks and fountain display at night.
