Bontempo La Yole

Camping la Yole is a delightful, well-run family campsite with excellent facilities, set within a rich forest, just one mile from a long sandy beach. The site is laid out in a woodland glade of pine, poplars and shrubbery – the reception is festooned with colourful geraniums.

Camping la Yole nestles less than three miles from the buzzing seaside town of St Jean-de-Monts, which offers a great choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The sheltered sandy beach of Merlin Plage is a brisk 15 minute walk (5 minute drive) along the main road from site.

The environment is perfect for relaxing, and most of our emplacements are surrounded by hedges, offering privacy and shade from the hot Vendée sun. The pristine pool complex is popular with children and boasts a large swimming pool, children’s pool, water slide, heated indoor pool and jacuzzi. Overlooking the pool is the spacious and welcoming restaurant and bar. Family entertainment is provided in high season and includes disco nights and live music.

Visit the Océanile water theme park and the Sealand aquarium; both a 45 minute drive from the site at Ile de Noirmoutier. A few minutes drive will take you to the sandy beach at Sion-sur-l’Océan where children will adore exploring the rocky coves and rock pools.
