Camping Fontisson is located in the heart of Provence, just over 10 kilometres from Avignon. In France, you can often judge the character of a region by its local street markets – and you certainly will not be short of those here. Around the village of Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, where the campsite is situated, you will find numerous markets. If you fancy a cultural excursion, Avignon – one of the most beautiful cities in Provence – is within easy reach. Discover the rich history of old France and its Catholic heritage. You can also drive to Bédoin and Mont Ventoux, perhaps even taking on the cycling challenge to the summit. The region also offers many gentler cycling routes.

Plenty to enjoy on site
The campsite features a pleasant swimming pool with a small paddling pool. During high season, aquagym sessions and an entertainment programme take place around the pool. Please note that Bermuda shorts and long swim shorts are not permitted in the pool, so be sure to bring suitable swimwear. Children can enjoy a small playground and an inflatable bouncy castle. Active guests can make use of the multi-sports ground and tennis court. Fresh bread can be ordered daily, and in high season the restaurant serves food and drinks. The campsite grounds are gently sloping.
