Live the good life in France at Camping La Simioune. This authentic French campsite is located in the triangle between Mont Ventoux, the Gorges de l’Ardèche and the Cévennes – an excellent base for countless excursions and sightseeing opportunities.
Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy the scent of the forest and the sound of cicadas. The gently sloping grounds are shaped by trees, which define the pitches and create a natural atmosphere. The round swimming pool features a separate children’s pool (55 cm deep) and a sun terrace with loungers and parasols. Right next to the campsite is an adventure park with treetop climbing courses. A special extra: bicycles and electric bikes are available for hire, allowing you to cycle through nearby vineyards with views of the Drôme mountains and Mont Ventoux.
A family-friendly stay in the Vaucluse
Children will love the pool area and the separate paddling pool. During high season, the mini club offers fun activities, and the trampoline is a favourite spot. Parents can relax on the sun terrace while keeping an eye on the children. There is a restaurant with terrace, and the small shop sells local delicacies, wine and fresh bread each morning. A supermarket is located 4 km away.

The campsite is situated on the border of the Vaucluse, Drôme and Ardèche regions. Within an hour’s drive, you can enjoy horse riding, cycling, canoeing on the Ardèche, hiking or canyoning. Visit the Gorges de l’Ardèche, Vaison-la-Romaine, Avignon, Nîmes or Mont Ventoux. Thanks to its central location, the campsite is a popular choice.

Een kleine camping prima voor ons jonge gezin. Wij waren blij verrast door het schone sanitair steeds weer. Een prima zwembad echt een fijne verkoeling bij het warme weer. Prima gegeten in het restaurant, eenvoudig doch smakeliljk.

Heerlijk rustige sfeer in een groene omgeving. Goede bewegwijzering naar de camping toe. Vlak bij de snelweg, maar toch midden in de natuur, met veel schaduw. Ruime kampeerplaatsen die niet in laantjes liggen maar vrij verspreid over de camping. Vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangst. Fantastisch schoon en blijkbaar nieuw sanitair. Heerlijk zwembad met veel zon. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Kindvriendelijke plek aan voet Mt Ventoux Vriendelijke Franse eigenaar. Goed onderhouden camping met beperkte schaduw en omvang plekken. Mooi zwembad en diverse speeltoestellen. Veel Nederlanders en vooral tenten. Sainitair is redelijk goed. Bar/terras op camping met drinken en snack. Ligt aan riviertje waar kinderen kunnen spelen. Diverse leuke dorpjes in de buurt om te bekijken en te eten. Mooie fietsomgeving voor mountainbike/racefiets met vlakke stukken en colletjes. Veel fietsers op de camping (ook hardlopers). Maulacene/Bedoin aan de voet van de Mt Ventoux zijn ruim half uur autorijden. Niet ver van de Route de Soleil

Door gespannen optreden van beheerdersechtpaar wordt veel vakantieplezier bedorven. Men schreeuwt lelijk en beschuldigend tegen campinggasten, verbiedt allerlei ontspanning, kinderen mogen bijna niets. Beheerder laat eigen honden tussen en tegen tenten hun behoefte doen en reageert laconiek op de aanwezigheid van veel asbestresten op het terrein. Voor ons is dit 'eens maar nooit weer'.

Op doorreis deze gastvrije camping aangedaan. Midden in het groen en alle ruimte. Fijn zwembad om even af te koelen en voor de kinderen genoeg te spelen. Sanitair gezellig schoon. Vers brood in de morgen (besteld door ons) en lekker doch eenvoudig gegeten in restaurant.
