Looking for a not-too-large campsite in Provence? Les Tomasses is a 4-star campsite in the Var, on the River Gapeau. The charming Provençal village of Belgentier is close by (2 km) and this is a family-friendly site with plenty of facilities. Children can enjoy a playground, a trampoline and a multi-sports court, and in high season there are regular fun activities.

Family-friendly — with the sea about 20 minutes away
For cooling off, this friendly nature campsite has a heated outdoor pool with a separate toddler paddling pool. Children can run around and play in the playground, while parents can use the fitness equipment. In high season you can eat at the on-site pizza restaurant, and in the mornings you can collect pre-ordered warm bread rolls from reception. The campsite also has a pleasant, comfortably fitted sanitary block.

Les Tomasses is ideally located between Provence and the famous French Riviera (Côte d’Azur). It’s right next to Belgentier, where there’s also a supermarket. Around 15 minutes’ drive from Belgentier you’ll find a large shopping centre. The campsite lies in the Gapeau valley and is close to Cannes, Saint-Tropez, Hyères, Marseille, Nice, Monaco, the Gorges du Verdon, and the beaches of the Mediterranean. The port of Toulon is 22 km away. And how about a drive to the Gorges du Verdon, about 85 km away?
