Camping A La Rencontre du Soleil is a 5-star campsite with 77 pitches. Le Bourg-d’Oisans is a French municipality in the Isère department in the Rhône-Alpes region. It lies at the foot of the most famous mountain range in south-east France: Alpe d'Huez. The mountain is particularly well-known among racing cyclists, as a stage of the Tour de France takes place here. During the summer months, many amateur cyclists attempt this route. For mountain lovers, this is an ideal region with versatile possibilities. Famous winter sports resorts such as Alpe d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes are located in the immediate vicinity of Le Bourg-d’Oisans.

Camping on flowery grounds
The well-kept grounds, which make a cheerful impression due to the numerous flowers, offer large grass pitches. A small river flows along the site, where you can cool your feet. Thanks to boundaries made of high hedges, shrubs, and tall deciduous and coniferous trees, there is plenty of shade and privacy on most pitches.

Swimming with a view
The oval swimming pool at Campsite A la Rencontre du Soleil has a sliding roof and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The pool is beautifully designed, well-maintained, and approx. 90–120 cm deep. There are some sun loungers on the decorative tiles around the pool, so bring a book or an e-reader!

Food and drink
During the summer season, the bar and restaurant (with an extensive menu) are open. The dining area looks smart and is comfortably furnished with lounge sofas, amongst other things.
